A year after graduating from Lasalle College, she departed Montreal briefly in 1998 for London, where she completed an internship with designer Gaile McConaghie. Lolapeachy & Violet Manners

The distinctive style stems from a desire to create something beautiful, yet not girlie, and from a fascination with the macabre. This is definitely not jewellery for the faint of heart. Influences range from Victorian mourning jewellery and old photographs found in junk shops, to Barnum's Circus. Even the name LolaPeachy comes from "the grave of a dead woman who is buried next to my Grandmother."
