This print was especially designed by Fay Alice (Faye Smith) for Coco Career's 'Art on Fashion' project.
Art on Fashion is celebrating the interdisciplinary activity of creatives, both critically acclaimed emerging talents as well as internationally established artists.
For this special project Coco Career's Boutique (Verena Paloma Jabs) has asked artists and designers to create an image, which is offered as limited edition screen-printed t-shirts.
About Faye Smith
Berlin-based label Fay Alice creates women’s fashion with a lot of love for detail and an edgy touch. Faye Smith, the designer behind the label, seeks to create modern, feminine clothing by drawing inspiration from inconspicuous, everyday objects, which tell stories of past beauty, such as a vintage dress, an old piece of lace, a faded book cover.
After completing an apprenticeship as a dressmaker, she studied Fashion Design at the University of Applied Sciences (FHTW), Berlin, and the University of Westminster in London. She worked in London for designers such as Robert Cary Williams and La Petite Salope.
