Designs are decorated with ruffles, rouching, knots and beads, and each feature a funky lining peeking through.

LolaPeachy & luxury jewellery label Violet Manners are a range of hand-made beaded jewellery designed by Londoner Nisha Thirkell. The distinctive style stems from a desire to create something beautiful, yet not girlie, and from a fascination with the macabre. This is definitely not jewellery for the faint of heart. Influences range from Victorian mourning jewellery and old photographs found in junk shops, to Barnum's Circus. Even the name LolaPeachy comes from "the grave of a dead woman who is buried next to my Grandmother."
